Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 23 Feb. 2026

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern all services, consultations and treatments provided by MTA Clinic (“the Clinic”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking an appointment, attending a consultation, receiving treatment, or interacting with our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

These Terms are designed to ensure transparency, protect patient safety, clarify expectations, and define responsibilities between the Clinic and the client. They apply to all bookings made online, in person, via telephone, email, social media or any other communication channel.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not proceed with booking or treatment.

Professional Status & Clinical Standards

All treatments at MTA Clinic are carried out by a UK Registered Nurse with advanced postgraduate training in aesthetic practice.

Procedures are performed in accordance with:

  • Professional nursing standards

  • Ethical clinical practice

  • Infection prevention and control protocols

  • Evidence-based medical guidance

  • UK regulatory and legal requirements

The Clinic maintains appropriate professional indemnity insurance.

All treatments are provided within the scope of professional competence and clinical judgment. Patient safety, medical suitability and ethical practice take precedence over commercial considerations.

Eligibility & Age Requirements

All clients must be 18 years of age or older at the time of treatment.

We operate a strict age verification policy and reserve the right to request valid photographic identification. Treatment will not be administered to individuals under 18 under any circumstances.

The Clinic also reserves the right to decline treatment where:

  • A client appears under undue external pressure

  • There are concerns regarding emotional suitability

  • Expectations are unrealistic or unsafe

Consultations & Medical Assessment

4.1 Mandatory Consultation

All treatments require a prior consultation. No injectable or aesthetic procedure will be carried out without appropriate assessment.

The consultation includes:

  • Review of full medical history

  • Assessment of medications and allergies

  • Discussion of previous aesthetic treatments

  • Identification of contraindications

  • Explanation of treatment options

  • Discussion of risks, complications and recovery

  • Management of expectations

4.2 Right to Refuse Treatment

The Clinic reserves the absolute right to refuse treatment where:

  • It is deemed medically inappropriate

  • The procedure presents elevated clinical risk

  • The client has unrealistic expectations

  • There is insufficient disclosure of medical history

  • The practitioner believes treatment is not in the client’s best interest

Refusal of treatment does not constitute discrimination and is based solely on clinical judgment and patient safety.

Informed Consent

Prior to treatment, clients must sign a written informed consent form confirming:

  • They understand the nature of the procedure

  • Risks and potential complications have been explained

  • Alternative options have been discussed

  • They have had opportunity to ask questions

  • They are proceeding voluntarily

Consent may be withdrawn at any time prior to administration of treatment.

Once treatment has commenced, consent is considered executed.

Treatment Outcomes & Expectations

Aesthetic medicine is not an exact science. Results vary significantly depending on:

  • Individual anatomy

  • Skin quality

  • Metabolic rate

  • Lifestyle factors

  • Hormonal influences

  • Healing response

The Clinic does not guarantee:

  • Specific aesthetic outcomes

  • Perfect symmetry

  • Exact longevity of product

  • Replication of another person’s results

Temporary swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness and asymmetry are common during the healing phase and do not indicate treatment failure.

Clients acknowledge that aesthetic results are subjective and personal dissatisfaction does not automatically constitute clinical error.

Pricing & Payment

7.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in GBP. Pricing reflects product quality, clinical expertise, professional time and regulatory compliance.

The Clinic reserves the right to update pricing at any time without prior notice.

7.2 Payment Terms

Full payment is required at the time of appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Failure to make payment may result in refusal of future services.

7.3 Deposits

Where deposits are required:

  • Deposits secure clinical time

  • Deposits are non-refundable

  • Late cancellations may result in forfeiture

Repeated cancellations may require full prepayment for future bookings.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments.

Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in:

  • Loss of deposit

  • Charge for missed appointment

  • Requirement of advance payment for future bookings

The Clinic reserves the right to reschedule appointments in cases of illness, emergency or unforeseen circumstances.

Late Arrivals

Clients arriving late may have their treatment time reduced to prevent disruption to other appointments.

Arrivals exceeding 15 minutes may require rescheduling.

Repeated lateness may result in refusal of future bookings.

Aftercare Responsibilities

Clients will receive verbal and/or written aftercare instructions following treatment.

It is the client’s responsibility to:

  • Follow aftercare guidance

  • Avoid contraindicated activities

  • Monitor treated areas

  • Report unexpected symptoms promptly

  • Attend review appointments where recommended

Failure to follow aftercare advice may affect results and recovery.

Risks & Complications

All medical aesthetic procedures carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Swelling

  • Bruising

  • Infection

  • Allergic reaction

  • Vascular occlusion

  • Tissue damage

  • Delayed healing

  • Asymmetry

While complications are rare when performed by trained professionals, no procedure is risk-free.

In the event of complications, the Clinic will provide appropriate assessment and management within the scope of professional responsibility.

Medical Disclosure

Clients must provide complete and truthful medical information.

Failure to disclose relevant health conditions, medications, allergies or previous procedures may increase risk and may limit liability of the Clinic in the event of complications.

The Clinic is not responsible for outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate disclosure.

Limitation of Liability

MTA Clinic shall not be held liable for:

  • Undisclosed medical conditions

  • Failure to follow aftercare instructions

  • Natural product breakdown

  • Individual healing variation

  • Dissatisfaction with aesthetic outcome

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for negligence resulting in death or personal injury as required by UK law.

Photography & Use of Images

Clinical photographs may be taken for medical record purposes.

Before and after images will only be used for marketing purposes with explicit written consent.

Consent for marketing use may be withdrawn at any time, though this will not affect previously published material where consent was granted.

Confidentiality & Data Protection

All personal and medical data is handled in accordance with:

  • UK GDPR

  • Data Protection Act 2018

Medical records are stored securely and retained in accordance with regulatory guidance.

Full details are outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Any disputes arising from services provided shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
